You know that feeling when your team scores and you want to lose your mind with someone? Not just anyone sitting next to you on the couch, but a whole room full of people who feel exactly what you feel in that moment? That's not something you can manufacture at home, and honestly, most sports bars don't deliver it either.
But Jonathan's Grille does. Every single time.
Whether it's a Thursday night NFL matchup, a Saturday college football showdown, or a Sunday where four games are running simultaneously, and you refuse to miss a single one, Jonathan's Grille was built for exactly this. We've been Nashville's go-to sports destination since 1999, and after more than two decades, we still take game day as seriously as the coaches on the sidelines.
55 TVs. Every Game. Every League.
Let's start with the basics. Every Jonathan's Grille location is loaded with 55 high-definition TVs. Not a couple of screens near the bar. Not one big screen that half the room can't see. We're talking wall-to-wall coverage so that no matter where you sit, whether it's a high top near the bar or a booth in the dining room, you have a clear, unobstructed view of your game.
NFL, NBA, MLB, college football, March Madness, you name it. If it's being played, it's probably on one of our screens. That's the whole point. You shouldn't have to crane your neck, beg a bartender to change the channel, or settle for watching highlights at home because your usual spot only had two TVs pointed in the wrong direction.
At Jonathan's, every seat is the right seat. Invite your friends and enjoy group dining with your favorite game!
The Food Actually Matches the Atmosphere
Here's where most sports bars drop the ball. The vibe is great, the TVs are everywhere, and then the food shows up, and you realize you're eating something that came out of a freezer bag three days ago.
That is not what happens here.
Our kitchen works just as hard as our bar staff. We're talking fresh, made-to-order food that you'd be genuinely excited about even if there were no games on. Start the night with our Bam Bam Shrimp, crispy shrimp tossed in our signature sauce and garnished with peppers and green onions.
Order the Fajita Nachos loaded with queso, fajita chicken, fresh guacamole, corn medley, and pico de gallo, drizzled with jalapeño ranch. Or go straight for the Prime Rib Sliders with shaved prime rib, grilled onions, mozzarella, and chipotle mayo on top.
And if you're actually hungry, not just snacking, our entrees hit different. The 14-oz slow-roasted Prime Rib available after 4 PM is the kind of thing you talk about on the drive home. The Blackened Mango Salmon over cilantro rice with house-made mango salsa is a menu item that surprises people every time.
Even the burgers, like our Cowboy Smash with Nashville Hot bacon, fresh jalapeño, pepper jack, and spicy BBQ, are made with the same level of care as everything else coming out of our kitchen.
We don't do shortcuts. We never have. Have a look at our main menu.
Wings Built for Game Day
You can't talk about watching football without talking about wings, so let's get into it.
Jonathan's wings come in two styles: Tara's bone-in wings and legs, or Ely's boneless. The flavor options are almost overwhelming in the best way. Choose from 11 sauces, including mild, medium, hot, atomic, bam-bam, citrus lime sriracha, Jamaican jerk, Nashville hot, and BBQ sriracha. Or go with one of our dry rubs: garlic parmesan, cajun, lemon pepper, or buffalo lemon pepper.
Five for $9.50 or ten for $15. On game day, you're probably going with ten.
Drink Specials That Make the Experience Even Better
Great game, great food, cold drink in hand. That's the formula.
At Jonathan's, we run specials every single day of the week, so there's never really a bad night to come in. Tuesdays bring 2-for-1 bottled and draft beers all day long. Saturdays and Sundays feature $7 Bloody Marys and Mimosas starting at 11 AM, which means brunch and the early games are a very good idea. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM with select appetizers at just $8.
And if you're out late and the West Coast game is still going, our Late Night specials kick in at 10 PM with 2-for-1 beers and 12-inch one-topping pizzas for $8. The night doesn't have to end just because it got late.
